"The Filmer" Goes Public...

In these trying times of financial uncertainty,  a lot of people have decided to go into self employed small businesses . . . and I too am taking that step.  Every event is different and every photographer isn't the same, but I plan on offering reasonable packages for everyone to be able to afford and receive photos of their event for memories to be recalled over the coming years. I'm simply a local Philadelphian hobbyist photographer, who's taking his college training on video & digital photography and putting it to use and going full time professional. I have the same equipment & quality service (if not better) as those charging an arm and a leg, but has the patience and understanding everyone can't afford the arm and a leg charges but still would like the same quality.

For the last few years I've captured live music shows and spoken word events using video, social, still, portrait, still life, street, and travel photography styles, and several holiday events as well; and was always asked why I didn't take the next step and do it for a living more so than just a hobby. Well that is no longer the question I'll be asked, I'll now be asked when am I available and what are my rates for events.

Just because you can't afford that photographer who may charge $300+ for event doesn't mean that's your only option or that you have to go without . . . or you may have a camera, but would like to enjoy your child's party rather than be behind the camera you'd like to be in the pictures. My mission is to help all, even those who can afford the high priced photographers but wish not to employ them.
